Short version:Instapdown is a free tool you can use without an account. Use it lawfully, respect the original creators' copyright, and accept that the service is provided as-is. If you own an Instagram post and want it removed from our cache, see the DMCA Policy.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Instapdown (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Instapdown is a free, account-less, browser-based toolkit for Instagram creators. It offers downloaders for Reels, videos, Stories, Carousels, photos, profile pictures, and Reels audio (MP3); a hashtag library across 15+ niches; an Instagram font generator; an engagement-rate calculator with follower-tier benchmarks; a Reels hook library; and best-time-to-post data for 16 countries. The Service is provided “as is” and may change without notice. We may add, modify, or remove tools at any time.

3. Third-party notice (Meta Platforms, Inc.)

Instapdown is an independent, third-party utility. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, or any related entity. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. The Service reads only public Instagram data, only at the user's explicit request, and only by resolving a URL the user pasted to its corresponding public Instagram CDN URL.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Instapdown only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Download or distribute content in violation of applicable copyright law or Instagram's Terms of Use.
Use the Service to redistribute someone else's content commercially without rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service.
Use automated tools to bypass our rate limits or evade our protective measures.
Use the Service to harass, dox, impersonate, or otherwise harm individuals (including reusing another creator's profile picture as your own avatar).
Use the Service to interact with content from private, protected, or deleted accounts (which we cannot access in any case — see DMCA Policy § 6).

5. Copyright and content ownership

Instapdown is a URL transformer. When you use a downloader, our server resolves the public Instagram URL you pasted to its corresponding Instagram CDN URL, returns that URL to your browser, and the bytes flow directly from Instagram to your device. We never store the file. The downloaded content remains the property of its original creator. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable copyright law, including fair use (US 17 U.S.C. § 107) or equivalent doctrines (Türkiye FSEK Art. 38). Copyright holders can file a notice under our DMCA Policy — 24-hour response, no lawyer required.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Instagram's CDN endpoints change frequently; our extractor chain is best-effort, may rate-limit, or break without notice. We make no promise that any specific post, account, Story, or piece of media will be retrievable at any given moment.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Instapdown and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our maximum aggregate liability for any direct damages is US $50 — chosen because the Service is free and unmonetized.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Instapdown and its operators from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right (including copyright, privacy, or publicity rights) in content you process through the Service.

9. Termination

We may, at our sole discretion, restrict or terminate access for any user that violates these Terms — for example, by abusing rate limits, submitting fraudulent DMCA notices, or running automated abuse. There is no account to delete; termination consists of blocking the offending IP or behavior.

11. Governing law and forum

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's home jurisdiction without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith correspondence will be heard in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
